Birmingham have had a strange season in the Championship that may be one fans put to the back of their minds for one reason or another.

For a few months, Garry Monk’s side looked like they were on for the play-offs, or at least a late push.

Despite this, the nine point deduction pretty much ended their hopes of doing anything this season, overshadowing what has been a step in the right direction for the St Andrew's club.

Che Adams has been excellent, and Monk has got the better of a couple more players at the club, meaning they have something to build on next year, but it’ll be tough given the finances.

Overall though, there are a few moments Birmingham fans will remember.

Here, we present you with three of their most unforgettable moments from the 2018/19 season, whether memorable for a good or bad reason.

Do you agree, or is there something else that will stick in the mind more? Let us know in the comments section below.

Grealish incident

The Grealish incident, where a fan ran on and attacked the Villa star, will have to go down as one of the more memorable moments of Birmingham’s season.

It kick started a great run of form for Villa, but started a poor month or so for Monk’s men.

Points deduction

When Birmingham fans look back on this season as a whole, they will remember the points deduction, which has overshadowed the season in truth.

Without this, who knows where Birmingham would have been - they would certainly have more confidence in games as their season was virtually over after this.

Doing the double over Leeds

It hasn’t all been bad though, and one memorable thing for Leeds this season has been doing the double over Leeds, Garry Monk’s old club.

If Leeds picked up some points against Birmingham, they may have gone up, so Birmingham fans can certainly take something from this.
