Portsmouth secured yet another win at the weekend as they look to maintain their place at the top of the League One table.

Kenny Jackett's men clinched their tenth league victory at the weekend with a comfortable 1-0 victory over Fleetwood Town at Fratton Park.

Pompey look the real deal for promotion, it must be said - they have just one game out of their last fourteen, and are already seven points clear of third-place Sunderland.

There is, of course, still a long, long way to go, and with the January transfer window fast approaching, that could be the time for Jackett to get rid of some of the side's deadwood and add new faces in order to bolster their push for promotion.

With that being said, here, we take a look at three players that Pompey should look to sign in January...

The front three of Oli Hawkins, Ronan Curtis and Jamal Lowe have been magnificent for Pompey this season, although the addition of another striker probably won't go amiss.

Leyton Orient's Macauley Bonne has been in fabulous form in front of goal this season, his tally of ten goals this season takes his tally up to 34 goals in 60 starts for the National League side.

At only 22-years old, Bonne could be a fabulous addition for the Blues.

Karl Henry has been without a club since the end of last season, and could add strength in depth for Pompey.

The former Bolton midfielder would add defensive steel to the Pompey midfield in the gritty stages of the season, and at 35-years old he could be a leader in the dressing room.

Tilt has been an everpresent in the Blackpool side this term, and the Tangerines boast the best defensive record in the league having conceded just nine goals in fourteen league games despite the club sitting just 13th in the Championship table.

The powerful 27-year old has already netted three times this season, and Pompey should definitely look to poach him off the Lancashire club in their quest for promotion.
