It’s been a strong start to the Sky Bet Championship season for Leeds United, who under Marcelo Bielsa are looking to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2004.

Leeds were in tremendous form over the course of August, with Bielsa’s side setting the pace early on.

Injuries have resulted in form dipping over the course of the last six weeks, but Leeds remain in a good position and will be confident that with returning players, they can get back to their best under Bielsa.

It’s been the Argentinian’s choice to work with limited numbers at Elland Road, but the last month will have taught Bielsa that it could benefit the Whites having more options in the squad.

January is the next chance Bielsa will have to strengthen his hand, and here at FLW, we take a look at THREE transfer agreements that Bielsa and Leeds should be attempting to sort…

Foyth is a highly-rated Tottenham youngster and Bielsa could do far worse that using his connections in North London to sort a deal.

Leeds are short of options at centre-back and Argentinian Foyth could be a very good option for the style Leeds play.

It’s a deal that could benefit all parties involved.

Adomah’s situation at Villa Park might change following Steve Bruce’s sacking, but his contract has been running down there for some time.

Leeds could do with another option out wide, with their wingers proving to be very inconsistent last season.

A cut-price deal should be targeted for Adomah, who has proved his worth at this level many times before.

Bonatini is a player that divides opinion at Wolves, but there is no denying that his form during the first half of last season was excellent.

The Brazilian scored 12 goals pre-Christmas last season and if he’s in his best form, he’d be a good addition at Elland Road.

Of course, Leeds have good striking options, but depending on Patrick Bamford’s fitness, another body could be welcome.

Bonatini would be a good option.
