According to The Standard Sport, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest are likely to enter a relationship where the Reds will receive some Spurs youngsters on loan.

This is due to the rapports between new Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton and Spurs' Head of Coaching and Development John McDermott.

McDermott is in charge of all youth age groups at Tottenham and as part of his role, he has to sanction loan moves for the youngsters.

His working relationship with Warburton has previously seen Spurs loan out Nathan Oduwa and Dominic Ball to Rangers, whilst Warburton was in charge of the Scottish giants.

Nottingham Forest are likely to benefit from Tottenham's esteemed youth system and they will have the pick of a number of talented young starlets coming through.

Here are 3 Tottenham Hotspur players who Mark Warburton should really be enquiring about with a view of completing a loan signing for the 2017/18 campaign.

Kyle Walker-Peters

Versatile full back Kyle Walker-Peters is considered by Spurs as one of their most promising youth products but he needs to get some senior game time to develop.

Primarily a right back, the England under-20 international can also play as a left back and this would make him a useful addition to Warburton's defensive options.

The soon-to-be 20-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and following a season of training with Pochettino's first team, a year in the Championship would do him the world of good.

Marcus Edwards

Marcus Edwards is another young Spurs starlet with the world at his feet - and he has already made his Spurs debut!

The England under-18 star might only be 5'7'' but his quick feet, balance and dribbling ability make him a nightmare to mark as he breezes through defences to contribute with goals and assists.

The 18-year-old attacking midfield prodigy has the potential to develop into a world class player in the future and a season with Nottingham Forest would help him toughen up ahead of his Premier League bow.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

Nottingham Forest's defence has been leaky for much of this season so Mark Warburton might look to address that in the summer.

Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers would be a handy addition after he has impressed when called upon in his four senior games for Spurs.

The 19-year-old is already being touted for a senior USA call-up and his physical presence at centre half is well suited to the style of the Championship.
