Hull City are going very well in this season's Sky Bet Championship and currently sit top of the division after a 2-0 win away at Blackburn Rovers this afternoon.

With experienced Championship manager Steve Bruce at the helm this is no surprise, and with the team playing well and getting results they are bound to be up there at the end of the season.

Their defence has been the second best in the Championship this season with only Middlesbrough's proving meaner, and Michael Dawson's partnership with Alex Bruce has been one of the best, with some seeing Dawson as the best centre-back in the Championship along with being a very good leader.

Their attacking players have been excellent too, with Abel Hernandez hitting his stride and already in double figures for the season, and one of the early favourites for the golden boot.

Midfielders in the form of Jake Livermore, Tom Huddlestone and Mohammed Diame have also been excellent in protecting the defence and providing a potent attacking threat, with attacking midfielders such as Ahmed Elmohamady and Sam Clucas giving Hernandez all the help he could possibly need.

The young England midfielder is one of Tottenham's most exciting young prospects and is tipped for big things in the future.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has pushed him this season and given him starts in the Europa League games, and he may also get some football in the upcoming FA Cup matches.

He has been turning in some dazzling displays for the Tottenham youngsters as well as England, and the attacking midfielder may seek some first team football to further his development.

Championship leaders Hull could be ideal for that as they lack options in the attacking midfield department.

The youngster has had many loan deals in his time at Spurs, including an unsuccessful loan spell at Swansea City this season.

He has had sporadic moments of brilliance for Spurs, like his goal earlier in the season against Norwich City, but overall he has been too inconsistent to be given a run in the first team.

He is resigned to the substitute's bench and, with Tottenham's midfield performing phenomenally this season, he won't break through.

Yet, a move to Championship high-flyers Hull would bolster his confidence and keep him in the manager's plans, though he may even struggle to break into Hull's talented midfield.

Maybe Kevin Wimmer would have been an option but Tottenham lack in defensive cover so may need to keep hold of him.

Young Harry Winks has made good progress in the youth teams at Tottenham, and has been given some game time with the first team in the Europa League.

But with him being very unlikely to break in to the first team, he is more likely to get some game time in the Championship and would act as cover at Spurs.

He is a talented winger with a good out ball and excellent pace, and possesses experience at youth level for England.
