The Championship returns this weekend and, with it, comes one of the biggest games around as Derby County host Nottingham Forest at Pride Park.

The East Midlands Derby is a game that needs very little in the way of introduction and, given how often these two sides have met over the years, it’s one that has plenty of history behind it.

Arguably, there’s not as much clout behind it as there would be if this was a Premier League game but the two sides still harbour great dislike for one another and so the neutral should be in for a storming game.

For sure, though both sides are not that close to the top six at the moment, a win over the other has the potential to get them on a run towards the play-offs and both managers will have drummed that into their players recently.
