Swansea City midfielder, Bersant Celina, has been key to the Welsh side's excellent start to the season that sees them sit top of the Championship table.

Celina has been in irresistible form for the Swans in this current campaign and has helped Steve Cooper's side in remaining unbeaten after their first six fixtures.

The Manchester City youth product still has so much potential and being just 22-years-old means that there is a lot of time in the future for him to be able to play his best football.

However, he's now become a regular in Kosovo's national team and on international duty he is gaining even more experience playing against some of the best players in the world.

Here are three things we've clearly learned about Celina so far this season...

Consistency levels have been raised

He had moments of sheer brilliance last season, and at Championship level they were really quite amazing. Celina still has so much potential to be a star, and all the best players will tell you that consistency is one of the biggest things in football.

This season, he seems to have added consistency to his play and is now helping out Swansea with good performances, week in week out. It will be interesting to see if not just him, but the rest of the team can keep up this excellent form in the next few months.

Surrounded by quality has helped Celina improve

The returns of Borja Baston and Andre Ayew have really helped the player in terms of his creativity. He now has options available to him that have shown their capabilities in terms of off the ball movement and finishing ability.

Borja is joint top-scorer of the Championship and that will only be a good thing for an attacking-midfielder to see in front of him. After Oli McBurnie left, Celina was probably worried about who he would be trying to create chances for, but so far, there's been no reason for him to worry about that.

Can do the dirty work as well

Celina's game has improved all round. He is now showing that alongside the excellent dribbling skills that he brings to this Swansea side, he is now capable of tracking back and being part of a solid shape that Cooper has brought to the team.

They have been able to defend in shape and that has caused problems for a number of other sides in the division. The Swans have kept three clean sheets in the league so far this season, including an impressive one away at Leeds United, Celina has been part of all of them.
