QPR suffered a frustrating defeat to West Brom at Loftus Road on Wednesday evening.

The Hoops were beaten 3-2 on the night, with Jake Livermore netting the fatal blow in injury-time for Darren Moore’s side.

The defeat means that QPR have now lost their last four matches in all competitions which will be frustrating for the club’s supporters.

Tomer Hemed and Luke Freeman were both on the scoresheet in the defeat, but goals from Jefferson Montero, Jacob Murphy and Jake Livermore proved to be enough to see the Baggies take all three points.

QPR’s recent run of form will be a concern, and their season looks like it is somewhat fizzling out heading towards the end of this year’s campaign.

They’ll need to turn this poor run of form around at the earliest of opportunities, otherwise the supporters will turn on both McClaren and the players quite quickly.

But what have we learnt about McClaren’s side after the defeat?

Find out below….

Their recent run of form will be a huge concern

For any side to be defeated for the fourth successive game, it’s going to be concerning for both the manager and the supporters.

They both want what’s best for the club, and Steve McClaren needs to turn this poor run of form around as quickly as possible, otherwise he could be facing questions about his future by the end of the season.

Luke Freeman is crucial to this QPR side

The former Arsenal youngster was on target again for QPR and he is their best player going forward by some distance.

Although he’s recently signed a new deal with the club, there will be concerns that he could depart in the summer, especially if he can keep up his impressive performances as the season progresses.

They’re dominating at home, but aren't take their chances

QPR have been the better side in the majority of their games at Loftus Road, but they seem to lack that cutting edge in front of goal which will be frustrating for Steve McClaren.

They had more shots and possession against West Brom on Tuesday, and still came away from the game with nothing to show for it.

They need to start taking their chances during games in which they dominate the statistics.
