This was one of the highest scoring games in the Championship on Tuesday night, after Burnley clinched a critical 3-1 win at Turf Moor against Fulham.

Here's THREE things we learned.....

1) Andre Gray is only going to get better for the Clarets.

Andre Gray scored his seventh goal in five games, after he scored a brace to help Burnley see off Fulham 3-1 in a thrilling encounter.

He has been irreplaceable this season for Burnley and he is continuing to perform exceptionally under Sean Dyche.

When Burnley last got promoted from the Championship they had a top striker in Danny Ings and now they have a top striker in Andre Gray, which shows how with a top striker leading the line, a promotion push is certainly achievable.

2) Fulham just didn't have their shooting boots on.

Fulham have made a steady start to the season after winning five of their 15 games they have played in, which leaves them in 11th in the Sky Bet Championship.

They had a total of 14 shots at Burnley's goal with only four of them being on target.

If Fulham want to be taking as serious title contenders they will need to start putting more of their shots away.

3) Burnley are real contenders for winning the league

Since Burnley's outstanding season two seasons ago when they got promoted to the Premier League, nobody thought that they would be able to repeat that feat.

However, after they have continued their fantastic start to the season, they can certainly dream about returning to the Premier League again in the near future.

This win has moved Burnley into second in the table, with 31 points which is the same as Hull who currently lead the Sky Bet Championship.

Its anyone's guess who will be the teams that go up this year, but one thing for sure is, it's going to be a very close title race and it could even go down to the last day of the season.
