Blackburn ended their winless drought to ease their relegation worries after a 3-0 thrashing over fellow strugglers Fulham, on Tuesday night.

Marshall’s early penalty was followed by Duffy’s second-half header to set up a first win in 10 league matches for Rovers, before a late third from on-loan Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

Rovers have scored just three times in nine games and looked to have found their form again last night.

They looked a completely different side and showed much more conviction than they did in Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat by league leaders Hull.

Fulham also looked like a completely different team to whom showed a convincing display that swept aside QPR at the weekend - they looked lacklustre last night and failed to get into the game.

Rovers had gained just four points since 11 December coming into the match, leapfrogging Fulham into 18th and are now eight points clear of the dropzone.

Fulham will be looking over their shoulder and can’t afford another slip up.

Football League World Writer, Ashley Williams identifies THREE things we learned from the game…

1) Confidence boost for Graham

The goal for the on loan Sunderland man will spark a huge boost for the striker.

He looked back to his old ways when we was with Watford, where he caused severe problems for Championship defences.

Even though the Fulham defence made it easy for him, you could identify his hunger and his work-rate in the game.

The forward was getting into the right places and was holding up the ball well, and could of got his name on the scoresheet on more than one occasion.

Graham gives Blackburn a different option and will be worthy help the Lancashire side finish the season in good spirits.

2) Ben Marshall

The Rovers man put in a man of the match display for his side tonight. He was the architect to everything that Blackburn created.

His fourth converted penalty of the season gave his side a real lift in the Championship clash, and Paul Lambert should be very proud of Marshall.

The defender has started 32 times for Rovers and has been the stand out player for Rovers this season.

3) Are Fulham in trouble?

Slavisa Jokanovic will have been bitterly disappointed with his side’s performance last night. They looked tired and seemed to struggle to get into the game.

The defeat will now worsen their relegation fears for the Serb as they have won only twice in their last 17 games in the Championship.

The shaky defence has really been the main cause of the concern for the West London side this season, and that was certainly evident from last night's performance.
