Charlton earned a draw with virtually the last kick of the game on Saturday as they came from behind twice to share the spoils with top of the table West Brom.

It was a fairly controversial game of football, but once more the Addicks didn't give up and fought to the end as Josh Cullen's 94th minute penalty meant that they left the Hawthorns with a point.

Lee Bowyer has done a superb job at the club since taking over, and now they're in the Championship he continues to do so week after week surprising opposition sides.

Here's THREE things we learned about Charlton following their 2-2 draw with West Brom on the weekend...

Team spirit

The Addicks showed an abundance of team spirit once more against top of the table West Brom. Yes, the Baggies were playing with ten men but they have quality all over the pitch and players who have had played at the very highest level of English football.

Charlton battled until the end, like they have done on so many occasions, and it proved to be enough to come away with a point that you'd assume Bowyer would have taken before the game.

Macauley Bonne is the real deal

The striker has been incredible since Lyle Taylor's injury. Many were worried that Charlton would struggle to score after Taylor had been ruled out for over a month, but it's turned into an opportunity for forward Bonne and he hasn't disappointed.

He continues to score for the Addicks, and it has given Bowyer a conundrum on what formation and who to play when Taylor is ready to be back in the side.

Adaptable

They were hugely adaptable in their game on the weekend. Bowyer constantly tinkered with the formation, and made changes which suited the way the fixture was going.

There's only so much you can do sometimes, and Charlton were on top for many different periods of the game which they can take comfort in as Bowyer has now seemingly made them a match for everyone in the division despite being promoted just last season.
