Portsmouth are looking to extend their lead at the top of the table this weekend as they host Fleetwood at Fratton Park.

On paper, it looks to be a game in which the home side are strong favourites. with Jamal Lowe and Ronan Curtis breaking from deep, any one of two from Pitman and Hawkins looking to flick on, they offer a significant attacking force.

Fleetwood isn't a name steeped in footballing history and perhaps their biggest claim to fame right now is being managed by Joey Barton and featuring Ched Evans up front. Whether than is fame or infamy is open to debate, but they're no slouches in League One this season.

The controversial manager has been anything but, he's shown his intelligence and restraint in taking his side to eighth. A win could, in theory, put them above Sunderland.

FLW previews the game with three things you can expect to see this weekend.

With Hunter, Madden and Evans if he's fit, there will be goals from bFleetwood. As the home side, you'd hope the same from Pompey.

Fleetwood have a fantastic array of attacking players who will look to lay siege to the home side's goal.

There's been more away wins than home wins in League One this season, possibly an anomaly but something they can take heart from.

Portsmouth haven't been great at home recently, losing to Gillingham and drawing with Shrewsbury and Wycombe.

Much of their approach is based around soaking up pressure and breaking at pace on the counter. It makes them terrifying as an away side, but at home it does leave them a little more susceptible to a freak result.

There could well be a shock here. Fleetwood are a strong away team, they've already won 5-0 at Scunthorpe and 4-0 at Doncaster, as well as holding Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

It looks to have home win written all over it, but we think that it might be one of the games which raises an eyebrow at 5pm on Saturday.
