Kenny Jackett's side have only won of their last four matches, and only one of their last four home games. Karl Robinson's Dons haven't won in two games since beating Charlton Athletic at home, and are in the relegation zone in the Championship.

This is an important game for both sides who both need a win to hopefully kick start some form and move up the table.

It should be a good a game between two sides who have met on a number of occasions in past seasons.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Matt Clayton identifies three things to look out for in today's game...

1) Wolves' inconsistent home form

Over the past two seasons, Wolves have had a very good home record under Jackett in both League One and the Championship.

However this season hasn't been the same and, after below par performances and inconsistent results, optimism is dwindling at Molinuex after just two wins all season.

Boss Jackett will need to improve Wolves' home form or he will find himself under big pressure with Wolves fans expecting better results.

He will see this game as a chance to win at home but MK Dons will be no pushovers. Wolves, however, will start as favourites.

2) MK Dons need a win

MK Dons are in the relegation zone on goal difference and they are in need of a win to get out of trouble in the Championship.

On paper at least a trip to Molinuex will be a difficult fixture, but Wolves are struggling to find wins at home and that may benefit Robinson's side as they go in search of a second away win of the season.

MK Dons have some talented players and Robinson will feel he has enough talent to pick up some much-needed wins.

3) Benik Afobe playing against his old club

Afobe scored 32 goals last season with 19 coming for the Dons in league, and the former Arsenal man will be looking to score against his old club.

He scored 13 goals for Wolves last season as well, and has netted seven times so far this season after scoring his first goal in five games against Ipswich Town last weekend.

Jackett will be hoping Afobe can score more goals starting today against MK Dons.
