Two former Premier League teams meet at Molineux this lunchtime with both clubs having suffered different fortunes over the past few weeks in terms of results.

Things have picked up for Derby County, who have won their last two games and beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0 in midweek.

However, Wolves have struggled to find any sort of form, losing comfortably to Brentford last time out, and manager Kenny Jackett is beginning to feel some pressure in the dugout.

Wolves sit 15th in the table and, barring a miracle, their challenge for a play-off place looks to be over.

The Rams meanwhile have consolidated fifth position, and will be looking for another victory to try and guide them closer towards the top two positions as the season starts to draw to a close.

New manager Darren Wassall will be keen to test himself against an experienced campaigner in Jackett, while the latter himself will be looking for Wolves to bounce back and get a much-needed three points.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Lee Connor identifies THREE things to look out for during the game...

1) Derby's new found form

The Rams look to have rediscovered some of their early season spring in their play and will be looking to make it three wins in a row.

Confidence looks like it has returned to the team, and this can only be a good thing for the players, while maybe spelling trouble for the surrounding teams in the top six.

There is always a team who puts a run together between now and the end of the season, and Rams fans will be hoping that this season it is their team, especially after last season's collapse.

2) Wolves need a win

Wolves are without a win in seven - a run which simply is not good enough for a club of their stature and with the players they have.

It appears they have struggled to get over the loss of striker Benik Afobe during the transfer window, and despite manager Jackett making moves to improve the squad, results have not picked up in the slightest.

Jackett will be desperate for his charges to turn around their form and not finish the season with a whimper. He was hoping to be challenging near the top of the table, but this now appears to be a long shot.

Nonetheless, he will not want to finish the season without picking up some vital wins, and will be looking for his players to prove to him that they deserve to be involved next season.

3) Jeremy Helan

The Sheffield Wednesday man has been brought in this week to add some much needed pace and competition to the Wolves squad, and he is likely to go straight into the line-up.

Helan has searing pace and can certainly offer something which Wolves have been missing over the past five or six weeks.

If Helan can rediscover some of the form he showed as a youngster at Man City and during his first few games with the Owls, then Wolves will have a decent player on their hands.

Jackett will be hoping he can be the springboard for Wolves to start and put some form together and show how good they can be on their day.
