Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was eventually chosen to replace Chris Ramsey, who was sacked the R's disappointing start to the season and he recorded a draw against Burnley in his first game in charge.

However, he will be boosted by the return of top scorer Charlie Austin as he hopes get his first win in his second game in charge of the club.

Chris Hughton has no fresh injury concerns but his side have been superb this season and are still yet to taste defeat in the league after twenty games.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the match:

1) Hasselbaink looking for first win

In 90 games as a manager, former Cheslea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has recorded 46 victories, giving him a win percentage of 51.1% in just over two years as a boss.

He started his reign at Loftus Road with a 0-0 draw but he was without influential striker Charlie Austin for the game.

The Dutchman has high standards of his team and he will demand that his first game in charge comes soon as he looks to mount a promotion push for QPR.

2) Brighton's unbeaten run to extend to 21 games?

When fans and pundits were predicting their promotion contenders at the start of the campaign, very few would have said that Chris Hughton's side would top the pack after 20 games.

Despite injuries to important players like Liam Rosenior and Kazenga LuaLua, the Seagulls have continued their superb form and find themselves two points clear at the summit.

Brighton go into the game knowing they could potentially drop to second if they fail to win so the players will be determined to keep their run going.

3) Brighton's firepower

While Charlie Austin is seen as one of the best strikers in the division, it is the opposition that pose a bigger threat in the final third of the field.

The Seagulls have scored 29 goals this season, with only Fulham scoring more, and they go into the game at Loftus Road with Bobby Zamora and James Wilson bang in form.

With Zamora, Wilson and top scorer Tomer Hemed to call upon, Brighton pose a considerable threat to their opponents and that could be the difference in the game.
