Nottingham Forest will take on Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow with both sides in desperate need of three points.

The Reds are without a home win since August and Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Burnley represented their fifth straight home game without tasting victory.

Ipswich were thumped 3-0 at Hull City in the week and will be hoping to get back to winning ways as they visit the East Midlands.

The Reds will be missing no fewer than ten players as they look to secure a much needed win. Captain Henri Lansbury is the latest addition to the list after his red card for stamping on the Clarets' Ben Mee in midweek.

Ipswich will be hoping to call upon the services of Christophe Berra and David McGoldrick at the City Ground as both players returned to full training this week.

It was the Tractor Boys who came out on top when the two sides met last season as they followed up the 2-2 draw at the City Ground with a 2-1 victory at Portman Road.

Here Football League World takes a look at three things we can expect to see from tomorrow's encounter:

1) A wide open contest with plenty of goals

Nottingham Forest haven't been reaping the rewards in terms of a points total that their performances have warranted of late.

The Reds have been trying to play a simple style but one that is dynamic and creates lots of chances.

With Jamie Ward on one flank and Ryan Mendes on the other, the Ipswich central defenders will really have to be at their level best to thwart the threat of the Reds' balls into the box tomorrow afternoon.

Ipswich on the other hand are a match for most Championship teams with their up and at them style.

They have a strong midfield and in attack have David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy who both have the ability to be lethal in front of goal.

Whilst I don't want to jinx it, expect goals tomorrow!

2) Nervy sets of supporters

Neither side will probably remember how to win a Championship match with tomorrow's hosts on a run of five without a win and the visitors six, so expect anxious supporters aplenty at the City Ground.

A home win is a must for Forest tomorrow if they are to avoid piling more pressure on boss Dougie Freedman, whilst Ipswich know that having reached the play-offs last season their current run simply isn't good enough.

The first goal will be absolutely vital. If Forest can get it the City Ground will be rocking, whereas if it goes the way of the visitors the Forest faithful could turn against their team rather quickly.

3) Yellow cards - lots of them

Nottingham Forest and Ipswich share 53 yellow cards between them this season along with two dismissals - both for Forest.

Tomorrow's man in the middle is Paul Tierney who has taken charge of 12 Football League games this season and has already shown a whopping 43 yellow cards and one red.

It wouldn't be at all surprising to see a few more cards dished out tomorrow given the desperation to secure all three points from both teams.
