The Sky Bet Championship's bottom club Bolton Wanderers face up against Nottingham Forest seeking a third win of the season to keep alive their faint hopes of staying in the second tier of English football.

Neil Lennon's Bolton travel to Nottingham Forest today (3pm kick-off)

Bolton are in turmoil. Reports say that they need £600,000 by Monday or they will go into administration.

Add that to the fact they have one only two games all season and prop up the Championship table, and it has been a disaster for manager Neil Lennon and the Bolton faithful.

It is no wonder Bolton fans feel utter dismay and where the next point is coming from is anyone's guess. Lennon faces a huge challenge to focus the players for match days amid all the uncertainty off the pitch.

Forest on the other hand are mid table and have drawn six of their last seven games, and will want to improve upon that position and try and push up towards the play-offs with victory this afternoon.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Anthony Yeo identifies three things to look out for in this afternoon's encounter...

1) Bolton's away form

Away from the Macron Stadium, Bolton's form is woeful.

They have not won on the road all season and have drawn just three games, losing the other ten matches.

They have scored just nine goals away from home and have conceded 28, which is the most in the division - it is no wonder they sit rock bottom of the table.

They are the only team in the Football League to have not won a game away from home this season.

2) Gary Gardner

The midfielder looks set to make his first start for Forest since joining them on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa for the rest of this season.

David Vaughan is suspended after picking up a red card in the match against Birmingham City in midweek, so it is likely that Gardner will get his chance this afternoon.

The hugely talented midfielder will relish making his first start against Bolton, and is bound to have an impact on the game today.

3) Neil Lennon

The pressure that must be on Lennon is beyond belief.

He is unable to recruit players and has to sell players to keep the club afloat, yet he needs them to stay to keep the club up.

This was the job he signed up for when he took it, but credit to him he is still there when he could have walked away for non-payment of his contract.

Today's game on paper looks like a certain Forest victory. They are reasonable solid at home, and Bolton are shocking away, but never right off a Lennon team.
