After the first game was cancelled at Newport, both sides will be hoping that this evening's tie not only goes ahead but is settled on the night as well to avoid a fixture pile up.

League Two side Newport County are 20th in the table and have recently changed manager once again, John Sheridan left for League One Oldham Athletic and Warren Feeney was appointed as the man in charge at Rodney Parade.

Newport who have two wins in their last six matches will be hoping to upset the Championship side tonight.

Blackburn Rovers are 18th in the Sky Bet Championship and have not managed a win in the previous six matches, and travel down to Wales in hope of avoiding a cup exit at the hands of a team 50 places below them in the football pyramid.

Here are THREE things to look out for in tonight's FA Cup match between Newport County v Blackburn Rovers.....

1). Blackburn's away form

Rovers have just three wins away from home this season in the league, and have only managed to score eleven goals on the road.

Though they do not concede many, the past four away matches have been one nil defeats, it is the lack of goals and being unable to break down the opposition that has been their downfall away from Ewood Park.

Blackburn will have to hope the quality of the players at Championship level will come through against the League Two team.

2) Warren Feeney

Tonight's match will be just his second game in charge of the Exiles, after his first was a much needed win at fellow League Two strugglers York City.

Newport main focus is staying in the Football League, so there will be no pressure on Feeney's League Two side and he may choose to change a few players, after the tough game at the weekend.

It will be interesting to see how Feeney approaches this game, as they have a real chance of causing a cup upset, but have to balance it out with making sure of League Two football for next season.

3) Jordan Rhodes

Rhodes could be the real difference between the two sides this evening, speculation has linked the striker with a move away from Ewood Park, but as yet, no bids have come in for the striker.

His nine goals in 24 matches for Rovers have been crucial ones, each game Rhodes has scored in, Blackburn have not lost.

The Scotland striker can make the difference in the FA Cup tie, as his movement and physical strength could well be too much for the struggling League Two side.
