MK Dons host Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday evening, with the winner progressing to the next stage of the competition.

The home side will be hoping to complete another cup upset, after beating Manchester United 4-0 in the League Cup in 2014. Chelsea are no strangers to falling victim to these, after losing to Bradford City in the fourth round of last year's competition.

MK Dons sit 20th place in the Championship after gaining promotion from League One last season. They are recovering from a loss to bottom side Bolton last weekend, and hoping that the FA Cup will provide a pleasant distraction to their league struggles.

Chelsea are having an abysmal season as reigning champions of England, currently sat in 13th place. However, they have shown a hint of their form from last season in recent matches, undefeated in their last seven. Guus Hiddink's side will be disappointed that they have only been able to go on to win three of these, however.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Ryan Evans identifies three things to look out for in Sunday's clash:

1) An unhealthy distraction?

Whilst Karl Robinson's Dons will be hoping that this match can spark some sort of turn around in their form, both them and Chelsea may wish to concentrate on their league form.

Chelsea are undefeated under Hiddink, but if they are to complete a miraculous turn around and make it into European competition for the 2016-17 season, they need to start winning games - they have beaten only struggling Sunderland, goal-shy Crystal Palace and 10-man Arsenal since November.

MK Dons have three solitary wins and a draw against fellow strugglers Leeds in their last ten, and sit just two points above the relegation zone. With high-flyers Cardiff, Middlesbrough and Derby their next three opponents, some fans may want Robinson to cut their losses in this competition and focus on retaining their Championship status for next season.

2) Stronger at home v weaker away

If MK Dons are serious about their chances in this game, they may take comfort in their form at home this season. They have 19 points at stadium:MK this season, much better than their away record.

On the other hand, Chelsea only have 12 points from 11 league games away from home, so Robinson will hope that their inconsistent away form persists on Sunday.

Will the match stay true of these stats?

3) Can Josh Murphy prove his worth and make the difference?

In what has been a disappointing season for the Dons, Norwich loanee Josh Murphy will be one of a few players who can feel proud of his efforts this season.

The attacking midfielder has mainly been used on the left hand side this season, where he has six goals and three assists in all competitions, and it is hard to see where MK Dons would be without the Wembley-born man.

On loan from Norwich, he has made 26 league appearances, and scored the second in the third round replay against Northampton earlier this month.

Can Josh Murphy help MK Dons pull off a giant killing?
