Last time these two met the scoreline went Rotherham's way in a league match at Elland Road, and this cup tie could prove to be another narrow affair.

Rotherham beat Leeds 1-0 when they met in the league and it was a goal from Joe Newell that settled the matter in a feisty match which saw two players sent off.

This Yorkshire derby will prove to be a great cup tie as Neil Redfearn prepares his charges for a win that would put the club into the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 2002.

Steve Evans will have to wait to return to his old ground, the New York Stadium, as his team are the home side in the tie.

Rotherham have had two successive losses after their wins over Bolton and Hull and will want to bounce back to get their first win of 2016.

Leeds meanwhile are slowly making their way up the table and have had a nice run recently with their last game against MK Dons finishing 1-1.

Here are THREE things to look out for in Rotherham's match versus Leeds:

1) The game will likely be tight and feisty.

Leeds have lost their last three FA Cup ties without scoring a single goal. However two of these ties were against upper league opposition, with the other being a 2-0 loss to Rochdale.

Meanwhile Rotherham have struggled in the FA Cup for years, having not reached the fourth round in just over a decade.

If history is to have its say, we could be in for a very even affair at Elland Road, and with the last match between the two ending in a 1-0 to Rotherham with two red cards, we could very much see a similar match-up.

2) The potential debut of Mustapha Carayol for Leeds

Leeds have just signed Middlesbrough winger Mustapha Carayol on loan and we could well see his debut against Rotherham on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has made 15 appearances this season for Huddersfield Town and scored 3 goals in his time out on loan.

There will be a lot of intrigue about Leeds' new signing and he could well make a start against Rotherham in this cup tie.

3) The potential debut of Aymen Belaid for Rotherham

Rotherham also have a new signing in the form of Tunisian international Aymen Belaid.

The central defender last played in Bulgaria for Levski Sofia and could well make his debut on Saturday having been put straight into the Rotherham squad.

The 27-year-old is quick and his ability to play a few positions on the left side of defence and in midfield makes him a valuable addition.

He could potentially come up face to face with Leeds' new signing Carayol as he could play on the wing for Leeds.
