Leeds United welcome QPR to Elland Road tonight looking to prevent a third consecutive defeat in the Championship.

The Whites have suffered at the hands of their Yorkshire neighbours – Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United in their last two Championship outings.

This has sparked a negative outburst from the Leeds fans over the club’s performances in recent weeks, questioning the desire of the club.

Meanwhile, QPR have turned a corner under Hasselbaink in recent weeks – picking up 7 points out of a possible 12 in their last four games.

The West London side put in a credible performance in their 3-2 defeat to Middlesbrough last week, but in that run, they have beaten Derby County and Brentford.

Both sides have nothing left to play for, but will be looking for strong finishes to the season in their underwhelming year.

Leeds boss, Steve Evans will be looking for a response from his players to ensure that his job is safe. While, Hasselbaink will be evaluating his players to see who is in his plans for next season.

Football League World Writer, Ashley Williams identifies THREE things to look out for in the match..

1) Leeds teenage goalkeeper set to make debut

Teenage goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is set to make his Leeds debut against QPR, with first-choice Marco Silvestri suspended.

Silvestri received his marching orders in the final moments of the feisty affair with Rotherham United at the weekend for bringing down Lee Frecklington inside the penalty area – resulting in Greg Halford scoring from the spot.

This is a good chance for the youngster to impress, who is highly regarded as a player for the future.

Evans stands by his decision not to recruit more cover for Silvestri due to Peacock-Farrell’s talent and progress.

This will be massive opportunity for the 19-year old to impress Evans, who if produces an outstanding display tonight could give the manager a selection headache when Silvestri returns from his ban.

2) Hasselbaink returns to Elland Road

The Dutch boss will make his return to Elland Road for the first time as a manager after a brief, but successful playing career with the Yorkshire club.

Hasselbaink is expected to receive a warm ovation for tonight’s game after netting 42 goals in 87 appearances for the Whites in the late 90’s.

However he will be solely focused on securing 3 points for the West London club tonight as they look to continue their decent spell of form.

3) Can QPR break their away record woes?

The R’s have not won an away game since the middle of January when they beat Rotherham United 3-0.

They will be looking to change that and take advantage of the situation that is going on at Leeds.

The players and Evans will be under immense pressure to deliver, after questions over Evans' future have risen and the fans voicing their opinions on their recent results.

Hasselbaink will be hoping that the pressure will be too much for the Yorkshire club and despite declaring his ‘love’ for the club, he will be looking to dampen their spirits even further.
