Both teams are in the hat for the fourth round although Ipswich only have one foot in, as they drew with League Two Portsmouth and now have a third round replay to overcome.

Leeds on the other hand beat Rotherham United comfortably 2-0 in their tie, and will hope that they can take the momentum into the league encounter at Portman Road.

Ipswich are sixth in the table and have won four out of the last six Championship games, drawing and losing the other matches, Leeds are nine points behind Ipswich down in 13th place.

Leeds are unbeaten in the last six matches, although they have only kept one clean sheet, in those games.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the Ipswich Town v Leeds United match.....

1). Ipswich's home form

Ipswich Town have six out of the previous eight home matches, and only lost one, Town tend not to lose at home, they had a blip against League Two Portsmouth but they did not have a full strength team on the field.

The Tractor Boys are a formidable proposition at Portman Road, and Leeds face a tough task to get something from the game against the men from Suffolk.

2) Chris Wood

The 24-year-old no.9 from New Zealand has got eight goals in 24 games for Leeds, and has been a very consistent performer throughout the season so far.

Averaging a goal every three games, Leeds will be hoping he can either maintain or increase it for the rest of 2016.

Goals are not the only thing the lively striker has to offer, he brings his team mates into play and is a constant nuisance to defenders, in attack and when his team does not have the ball.

3) Brett Pitman

Jersey born Pitman has played 27 games for the Tractor Boys this season , netting seven times in the process.

Although he is not prolific in terms of goals his work rate and endeavour is second to none in the Ipswich side, and is why he has played in every game this season.

Pitman is key in how Ipswich switch from defence into attack, to stop Ipswich from creating chances, Pitman will need to be stopped.
