In the Capital One Cup this evening, Hull City take on Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The form book is heavily in Manchester City's favour ahead of this one, who have three out of their last five agains the Tigers, who, to their credit, managed a 1-1 draw with the Blues in a Premier League clash in February.

Overall though, it's Hull who come into the game in hotter form, wining six out of the last 10, with only one defeat, though that came last Friday to Derby County.

City have three defeats in the last 10 league games, winning one less than Hull, though admittedly in a tougher league.

Here are THREE things to look out for in this game......

1) An upset

We saw Boro go to Old Trafford in the last round and beat Manchester United on penalties, whilst Sheffield Wednesday performed outstandingly to beat Arsenal 3-0 at home, making it pretty clear that upsets are possible in this competition.

But can Hull do it against the might Manchester City? Potentially. Given their patchy form recently, Manuel Pellegrini will certainly be tempted to rest some of his players in order to help their drive towards the league title.

This could see a weakened side play Hull, which gives them a fair chance of winning the game, especially if they themselves go full strength.

2) Whether Hull's solid defence can hold strong

Despite their two goal glut against Derby on Friday, Hull have one of the Football League's meanest defences, but can it hold firm against Manchester City?

With firepower from the likes of Sergio Aguero, Wilfried Bony, Kevin De Bruyne and Yaya Toure, many will cast doubt, but it will be extremely interesting to see just how many Hull concede this evening.

To come away with a clean sheet would be quite outstanding for Steve Bruce's men, who's aim will probably be to get to extra time.

3) Will Sergio Aguero start?

There were enormous fears on Saturday afternoon after Sergio Aguero seemed to hurt himself during a challenge against Southampton. This sent Citizens crazy over whether he'd picked up another knock, especially as he'd only just returned from a long term injury.

The Argentine has since confirmed on Twitter that it isn't as bad as it seemed, but will he get a start against Hull tonight?

Obviously we all know of Aguero's genius, and if he were to start against Hull it would make their chances of a win made extremely harder. If he wasn't, it may raise fears that it may be worse than once though - or he's just being rested.
