The Terriers have climbed up the table in recent weeks with impressive results like a 5-0 win over Charlton Athletic.

However, they have not won in their last two and will be keen to keep up their impressive form under manager David Wagner

Cardiff City still sit in ninth and while they are still in touch with the play-off places, they will need to put together a run of wins soon to realise their potential.

New signing Lex Immers will be instrumental in their bid for the play-offs while Anthony Pilkington will want to carry on with the form he showed against Rotherham last time out.

Huddersfield will want to consolidate their status as a Championship club with a strong finish to the season while Cardiff must win this game to show that they have what it takes to make the play-offs.

Here are THREE things to look out for in Huddersfield's game against Cardiff:

1) Huddersfield have not won against Cardiff since 2012

A confidence booster for the Cardiff City players and fans, while stats like these can mean very little, it can give the Bluebirds players the mental edge to emerge victorious from this game.

They have drawn twice and lost three times against Cardiff in a run that goes back to August 2012 and Town will want to end their winless run against Cardiff and climb above the likes of Leeds.

A win against Cardiff would be the Terriers' fifth win in their last ten.

2) Lex Immers' full debut

Feyenoord midfielder Lex Immers could make his debut against Huddersfield for loan club Cardiff City. The imposing Dutch midfielder has a great scoring record with 68 goals in his career that spans almost 300 games.

His experience and ability will be welcomed and he could well dictate the game if he starts.

The 29-year-old plays for the Eredivisie side Feyenoord and will be vital to Cardiff's push for promotion, he played in the second half against Rotherham United but couldn't win the game for City however here if he makes his debut he could well add to his impressive goal tally.

3) Cardiff looking to do the double over Town

When they met in September, Cardiff defeated Huddersfield 2-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Goals in that game came from Anthony Pilkington and Joe Mason and City will be looking to complete their league double over Huddersfield.

Anthony Pilkington bagged two against Rotherham last time out and having scored against the Terriers when they met in September, he could well score again.

The Bluebirds will want to make it six games unbeaten against Huddersfield and Saturday will be their chance to win again.
