Following last week's 2-0 victory over Birmingham, the Terriers climbed out of the relegation zone and currently find themselves two points above twenty-second placed Charlton.

Bristol City are without a victory in their last four games but they have lost back-to-back games and are without a goal in those two games as well.

The Robins have sixteen points this season and they only find themselves out of the bottom three due to their superior goal difference over Charlton.

Both sides will be looking to pull themselves away from the relegation zone and Steve Cotterill and David Wagner will see this as a game they must win as we head into a busy festive period.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the Huddersfield v Bristol City match:

1) Continued improvement under David Wagner

There was some considerable excitement surrounding the appointment of former Borussia Dortmund II coach David Wagner as Huddersfield's new Head Coach a few weeks ago.

The German has been trying to implement a high-pressing style in Yorkshire and recent performances, particularly last week's win over Birmingham, showed the progress he has made so far.

The Terriers looked confident as they ended a run of five defeats from six games at St Andrews and it is expected that we will see some more progress under Wagner.

2) Bristol City looking for goals

In November, The Robins scored just two goals and following last week's 2-0 home defeat to Blackburn, Steve Cotterill will be keen to ensure his side don't endure another goal-shy month.

The Robins have struggled for goals when top scorer Jonathan Kodjia is having a bad day and they need a different goal supply to the Frenchman.

Confidence is bound at Ashton Gate but 51-year-old Cotterill will be doing everything he can to make sure his side stay in the Championship this season.

3) The Robins's woes to continue

Bristol City have recorded just three wins in the Championship this season and their fortunes aren't expected to turn around on Saturday afternoon.

In the Robins' last eight visits to the John Smiths' Stadium, City have won just once, losing five, and they failed to beat the Terriers in four attempts.

Huddersfield appear to be one of the Bristol's bogey teams and their poor start to the season isn't expected to turnaround on Saturday.
