Fulham are languishing down in 18th pace of the Championship, today they take on Sheffield Wednesday who are just outside the play-offs in 7th.

Fulham recorded their first win in six games, with a 4-1 victory over Rotherham, Sheffield Wednesday will be a different proposition though.

Wednesday are four points behind Ipswich in sixth, they lost the last game to Middlesbrough but they won the two before that scoring seven goals.

New Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic faces a huge task , in resurrecting the clubs fortunes, one of his biggest problems will be keeping hold of top goal scorer Ross McCormack.

Sheffield Wednesday have one just once in 14 league visits to Craven Cottage, and have not kept a clean sheet in any of the previous visits.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the match:

1) Ross McCormack

Fulham's top scorer puts fear into any defence and if Fulham are to get something from the game you feel that the Scottish striker will be vital.

However with the recent speculation regarding his future, will he be fully focused?

The striker will undoubtedly play in the Premier League but whether its in January or next season we shall see, Fulham fans will be hoping for the latter.

2) Ross Wallace

He likes playing against Fulham, in the last meeting he assisted in all three goals when Wednesday  beat Fulham 3-2.

The 30-year-old midfielder has played a pivotal role for the Owls this season with his performances, the only thing he will want is to add to his two goals in the season.

Fulham face a hard task in keeping this quality midfielder quiet.

3) Fulham's defence

Scoring is not the problem at Fulham they have scored 40 goals already this season, more than any other team in the Championship.

Yet they have conceded 42, with only strugglers Bristol City and Rotherham conceding more, keeping hold of leads or even a clean sheet is a huge problem.

How Fulham cope with a potent Wednesday attack will be interesting to watch, there should be goals today.
