Struggling Bristol City travel to high-flying Derby County on Tuesday night as they look to build on their 2-1 victory over Huddersfield last weekend.

Following a slow start to life in the Championship, The Rams have started to look like promotion contenders under Paul Clement and they find themselves just four points behind league leaders Brighton.

While Derby have drawn their last two games, they have only lost once in their last ten league games, and two in the season altogether.

The Robins have struggled to adjust to life back in the Championship and they could find themselves back in the bottom three if results go against them on Tuesday night.

Steve Cotterill has relied heavily on summer signing Jonathan Kodjia for goals this season and while he has nine already, he cannot be the Robins' only source of goals if they are to survive.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the game:

1) Derby looking to get back to winning ways

Although the Rams have drawn their last two games in the league, they looked good value for money in their match against Brighton and their performances have been impressive in recent weeks.

They know that if results go their way in the midweek games that could go to within a point of top spot with Brighton and Middlesbrough facing each other on Saturday.

Paul Clement's side are justifying their summer spending by emerging as serious promotion contenders and they will be expecting to be preparing for a Premier League campaign in the summer.

2) Jonathan Kodjia

The French striker was Steve Cotterill's marquee signing this summer after his attempts to sign Dwight Gayle and Andre Gray fell through and, so far, he has shown why the club spent £2m on him.

He scored 15 goals in 28 league games for French side Angers last season and the Robins' boss signed him as he looks to secure the club's Championship status.

With nine goals to his name so far, he will be a key player for Bristol City this season and he could be the difference between his side getting a result at the iPro or not.

3) Derby's attacking threat

The Rams have some of the best attacking players in the division among their ranks with the likes of Chris Martin, Tom Ince and Jacob Butterfield playing key roles.

Butterfield, in particular, has been influential in recent weeks and he has been involved in three of Derby's last four goals.

Tom Ince will be hoping to continue his scoring form against the Robins after scoring three in his last three and he and his fellow attackers could be the deciding factor on Tuesday night.
