Sky Bet League 1 leaders Burton Albion travel to fourth-placed Coventry City this weekend for a match that would see the Sky Blues go top on goal difference with a win on Saturday afternoon.

Tony Mowbray's side are in sparkling form having only lost once in their last 17 league matches, whilst Albion have lost once in their last 11 league games.

The Brewers have shown no let up since former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink left the Pirelli in December for QPR, they are top of the league and have two games in hand over second placed Gillingham.

Burton's success this season has been about not conceding. Nigel Clough's side have scored 32 - the same as nineteenth-placed Fleetwood - but they have only conceded 19 goals, the best in the division.

Coventry's defensive record is not too bad either, just 25 conceded to 47 scored.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the game:

1) Coventry are formidable at home

They are unbeaten all season and have scored in 92% of their home matches. The Ricoh Arena is becoming a fortress once more for Coventry City, trailing only to Gillingham and Burton in the home league table.

Furthermore, they have won 62% of these games, so have a proven track record at converting games to wins.

However, Burton are also good on the road, with 21 points on the road from their 11 matches. As we can see, with Coventry's strength at the Ricoh and Burton's travelling robustness, we should see and evenly poised game.

2) Burton are looking for revenge

In the previous fixture, Coventry overturned Burton 2-1, after Mowbray tried to get the game postponed due to international call ups. Thankfully for him, they won the match thanks to goals from Marcus Tudgay and Romain Vincelot.

The Brewers have only lost once since then, and even sweeter revenge would be inflicting pain back on their promotion rivals on Saturday afternoon.

If they needed any motivation to get a result, then the fact they have never beaten a Coventry side should do the trick. They have only played twice in their history, the league game earlier this season, and a penalty shoot-out win for the Bluebirds in the Football League Trophy in 2012.

Can Burton Albion make history?

3) Two teams on the up

With their monetary issues firmly behind them, Coventry City are firmly back on track to return to the Championship. The Sky Blues spent nine seasons in the Premier League between 1992 and 2001, and were relegated from the Championship in 2012. In 2013, they left the Ricoh Arena due to disputes with the ground's owner, but returned a year later.

Burton Albion have been playing in the lower leagues of English football before promotion to League 2 in 2009. Whilst in the Conference, they drew 0-0 against Manchester United at home in the FA Cup, and earnt a lucrative replay at Old Trafford. They were promoted from League 2 last season as champions, and are now top of League 1, hoping for a first season in the English second division in the club's history.

With both these clubs' problems behind them, they can firmly look up and enjoy the football they see week in week out. Can either, or both, make it to the Championship next season?
