Premier League West Brom travel down to Ashton Gate looking to avoid an upset which so very nearly happened in the initial tie.

Bristol were seconds away from winning 2-1 at the Hawthorns when Albion forced an equaliser in the fifth minute of injury time, to ensure both teams' FA Cup aspirations remain intact.

The Robins enter the tie fresh off the back of a surprise 1-0 win over league leaders Middlesbrough at the weekend, while Albion were humbled by Southampton 3-0.

Both camps will be looking for different reactions to their weekend results, while looking to keep their squads fresh for the tough winter fixtures coming up.

The Albion last won at Ashton Gate in 1999, running out 3-1 winners, and Tony Pulis will no doubt be more than happy with a repeat result.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the FA Cup replay......

1) A case for Pemberton

The game against West Brom represents another stiff challenge for caretaker manager John Pemberton after the weekend’s game against Boro.

He managed to guide them to a well deserved victory that day, and seemed to have instilled a gritty determination and belief amongst the squad that could get the result.

If he can repeat that magic against Albion, then it will enhance his managerial credentials immensely. A victory would surely turn the board's heads towards Pemberton and they may well opt to appoint him on a more permanent basis.

2) West Brom's reaction

Tony Pulis is not a man who takes losing lightly, and the 3-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday will have done nothing to improve his mood.

While many managers use the FA Cup as an opportunity to give their squad players a run out, Pulis may see this as an opportunity to give his first 11 the chance to get a win under their belts.

Although a tricky balancing act, where defeat could inflict even more damage, it will be interesting to see how West Brom reacts.

3) Saido Berahino

If Pulis does shuffle his pack, then it may be that he opts to start with Saido Berahino.

Pulis has made no secret of his desire for the striker to improve his attitude and rediscover his goalscoring form of the previous two seasons.

Berahino on the other hand you would think would relish to opportunity to get out on the pitch.

Whether his desire is down to proving Pulis wrong and doing well for West Brom, or showing potential suitors he is still a top class striker, remains to be seen though.
