Brighton sit fourth in the table, five points behind current leaders Burnley who beat struggling Bolton Wanderers at the weekend to send them top.

Albion have won three of the their last five matches and need to pick up maximum points to maintain their automatic promotion challenge.

Leeds United are closer to the relegation places than challenging for a play-off place, they are just nine points above the relegation zone and unless they start picking up points they could still be dragged in the relegation battle.

Leeds face a tough challenge when they visit Brighton this evening as their hosts are unbeaten in their last four home matches.

Here are THREE things to look out for in tonight's Brighton v Leeds United match........

1) Brighton formidable home form

Albion have just three defeats in front of their home supporters this season and that has only been to teams in the top half of the table.

Brighton have picked up maximum points eleven times and have only drawn twice at home this campaign, whilst scoring 23 times and conceding 15 goals, have made some exciting matches at their home arena

Leeds do not have the best away record and will face a tough test to pick up points this evening.

2) Tomer Hemed

The forward joined the Seagulls in the summer and has netted nine league goals so far in this Championship season.

He was creative spark in Brighton's last match scoring a superb goal and creating another, his overall performance helped Albion sweep aside Bristol City as they ran out 4-0 winners.

The skilful forward has the chance to build on his exceptional display and give Brighton back-to-back wins

3) Souleymane Bamba

Leeds United will need all of the 31-year-old defender's experience tonight if they are going to get something from tonight's challenging match.

The Ivory coast international has been consistent all through this year, and is a defensive rock for Leeds United on his day.

His presence in the air at set pieces will be tested tonight, and if he is not in top form, Leeds are unlikely to pick up any points from this fixture.
