This lunchtime will mark arguably the biggest game in the Sky Bet Championship so far, with third place Brighton & Hove Albion hosting league leaders Burnley in what could prove to be an early title decider.

Brighton's unbelievable season has taken everyone by surprise and, while many anticipated that they would crumble when the business end of the season came round, they have kept pace with the frontrunners, and now trail Middlesbrough by just two points following Boro's 3-2 win at QPR last night.

If they can beat Sean Dyche's Burnley, then they'll cut the gap between themselves and Burnley to just a single point.

A month ago, the title race looked a two horse race between Hull City and Boro, but Burnley have come from seemingly nowhere to race into a commanding lead at the top.

Dyche has his team set up to play simple effective football, and if Brighton fail to stop them, Burnley's superior class will see them through.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Harry Smith identifies THREE things to look out for in this afternoon's match...

1) James Wilson

The talented young striker is on loan for the season from Manchester United and, whilst having made several waves during his spell so far, the Brighton fans will be demanding more from their young forward if they are to launch a permanent bid for him in the summer.

If he turns up today on top form, Burnley's defence will be in big trouble.

2) Burnley's structure

Dyche has set his side up to soak up pressure and then kill off his opponents with pace on the break.

His side are perfectly equipped to play this style of football, with Andre Gray, the league's top scorer, being the main weapon in the Burnley attack.

If they hold their shape and structure they can be unstoppable, but if they crumble, Brighton will capitalise and they'll throw away their lead at the top.

3) Joey Barton

The experienced midfielder is arguably one of the best players in the division on his day, and he knows exactly how to wind up his opposition.

If he keeps his cool then he is brilliant, but if he loses his head, then Burnley could find themselves down to 10 men, and with their backs against the wall.

If he turns up, he could be the difference between victory and defeat this afternoon.
