Home side Brentford are tenth in the Championship table, seven points behind Sheffield Wednesday who are in sixth place, after leaping over Ipswich at the weekend.

Leeds are in mid-table and are exactly eleven points off the play-off and the relegation zone, and their season is still unclear as to what direction they are heading in, although manager Steve Evans will surely believe they can make the play-offs at the end of the campaign.

Brentford have won twice in their last six matches, with the Bees having only picked up one point in their last three home games.

Leeds have only one win in their last six, and the last time they scored any points on the road was in December in a 1-1 away draw at Nottingham Forest.

Here are THREE things to look out for in the match between Brentford v Leeds United.......

1) Toumani Diagouraga

Leeds' new signing joined on Monday and will be in the starting line-up to face his former teammates on Tuesday night.

Diagouraga made 190 appearances for the Bees, 27 this season, and he joins Leeds on a two-and-half-year-deal, for an undisclosed fee.

Leeds' new French midfielder, will be key in trying to stop Brentford's impressive attacking midfielders like Alan Judge and  John Swift.

2) Brentford's play-off credentials

Tuesday's match will be a good examination of the Brentford squad and their potential to make the play-offs - they simply need to beat teams that are below them in the table.

However though, Leeds have play-off aspirations themselves and will not be push overs, especially with former Bees midfielder Diagouraga.

Brentford though need three points, but with many unsettled stars among their ranks, it begs the question, will they keep producing at the highest level?

3) Brentford's goal difference

The Bees have the worst goal difference out of all the sides in the top ten, although they may play exciting football, they have conceded more goals at home than they have scored.

If Brentford are to make the play-offs they will need to stop leaking goals.

Brentford last kept a clean sheet at home to Brighton back in December, so will go into this game against Leeds United hoping to attain a clean sheet.
