The midday kick-off in the Championship this weekend sees Burnley make the short journey to Blackburn for a Lancashire derby.

Here are three things to look out in the game.....

1) Jordan Rhodes looking to get back on the goal trail

Where would Blackburn be without Jordan Rhodes? Thankfully that is not a question that Gary Bowyer has to answer for the foreseeable future after they fended off interest from Middlesbrough to keep the Scotland international.

And this season he has already shown how important he is to them. Their poor start to the season coincided with Rhodes' injury and their 3-0 loss to MK Dons last weekend was the first time the 25-year old failed to hit back of the net for Rovers since the 28th August.

He has been superb so far this campaign and already has seven goals this season and he will be looking to get back on the score sheet as Blackburn look to get one over their rivals.

2) Blackburn looking to end hoodoo over Burnley

Rovers fans haven't had much to cheer about in the last four games against Burnley, failing to win in their last four games, drawing three and losing once.

After failing to score in their last two games Blackburn's confidence may be a little bit dented and with a number of injuries in their squad, it will be a difficult task.

Burnley are very much the favourites going into the match but the Championship is constantly throwing up shock results and that will give Gary Bowyer and his players hope as they host their neighbours.

3) Burnley's goals coming from someone other than Andre Gray

Andre Gray may have cost Sean Dyche £9m but he is not the Clarets' only source of goals. While the 24-year has started life at Turf Moor well, scoring four goals already this season, goals have been spread around the team.

Gray is Burnley's top goal scorer but just behind him with three each are fellow striker Sam Vokes, the experienced Matthew Taylor and highly-rated defender Michael Keane.

Burnley have scored 17 goals this season and with the goals being spread around the team, it is harder for opposition defences to pinpoint a main danger man. There are a number of danger men all over the pitch from Dyche's men and Blackburn will have to stop a number of players to prevent Burnley's goal scoring threat.
