Blackburn, on the other hand, are struggling in the depths of the Championship - they find themselves in 19th place with 34 points from their 30 games this season.

The FA Cup has been a pleasant distraction for Paul Lambert's side thus far, and they will be hoping that it continues as they look to book themselves a lucrative sixth round tie.

A victory in what will complete a massive shock will build confidence, and they may fancy themselves to go all the way to Wembley.

West Ham are expected to bring upwards of 7,000 fans to Lancashire, so there will be a cracking atmosphere to go with what should be an amazing game.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Ryan Evans picks three things we should look out for in this tie...

1) Blackburn will miss their former star men

Any side will struggle to recover from losing their star men, like Blackburn have in the last six months.

Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes scored 22 and 21 goals in the league last season respectively. Their partnership brought high praise from just about everyone in football, and it was rewarded, as Gestede departed to Premier League side Aston Villa in the summer, whilst Rhodes moved to Championship promotion contenders Middlesbrough last month.

With no real replacements coming in, it is no surprise they've struggled to score this season - only MK Dons and Charlton Athletic have scored less than them this season.

In fact, Blackburn's highest scorer is Ben Marshall with five in all competitions, and he has played most of the season at right-back.

Will Rovers miss Rhodes and Gestede when they go into today's game?

2) Can West Ham win the cup this year?

Three-times FA Cup winners West Ham last got to the final in 2006, when they lost to Liverpool in Cardiff.

They've won this tournament three times in the past, in 1964, 1975 and 1980, but will want to convert their impressive form of late into the glory days once more.

They are having an excellent season in seventh place in the Premier League, and only behind Southampton on goal difference and a further point behind Manchester United.

Their experience of the Europa League qualifiers at the start of the season, a tournament they qualified for due to the fair play league, will have aided in their great form this season.

Can West Ham go all the way?

3) Both teams enjoy this competition

Back in 2013, Blackburn beat Arsenal in the fifth round as they went on a run to the quarter finals, before eventually being knocked out by Millwall.

This will be Blackburn's first game in the tournament at home, and also their first against non-League Two opposition. They beat Newport County and Oxford United 2-1 and 3-0 respectively.

West Ham, on the other hand, haven't had it easy. After beating Wolves 1-0 in the third round, they went to Anfield to face Liverpool, and faced a replay at the Boleyn Ground. In the replay, they beat the Reds 2-1 after extra time.

With a place in the sixth round begging, which one of these sides can book their place in Monday's draw?
