Reading boss Paul Clement faces a season-defining month ahead as the Royals look to drag themselves out of the relegation zone.

Reading are currently sat 22nd in the Championship table and their fans will be bitterly disappointed to see their side in such a poor state.

It was just two years ago that Reading narrowly missed out on a place in the Premier League as they were defeated on penalties by Huddersfield Town- but that game couldn't seem any further away for Royals fans.

The players have struggled to recover from that defeat, and fans will be deeply concerned that the club could be relegated this season.

Clement has already come under intense scrutiny from the Reading fans, many of whom, would like to see Clement dismissed, alongside Ron Gourlay who has been at the centre of the issues for the club since he arrived.

But what will be concerning Paul Clement going forward as Halloween arrives?

Find out here....

There is no doubt in any Reading fans' mind in saying that Clement is struggling.

He has a win percentage of just 24% with the Royals since he took over form Jaap Stam, and that statistic speaks for itself.

He will be nervously awaiting a decision on his future if results don't improve.

With one win in their last six league games, Clement really has got a tough job on his hands.

But they do face some weaker teams this month, and if they come away from those games empty handed, then Clement is surely going to be dismissed.

If he believes he is the man to turn around this poor run of form, then he will have to start producing some wins- and fast.

This is a situation that is frustrating for Reading fans.

Barrow was a real bright spark for Reading last season, but after a reported fall-out between Clement and the winger, his future remains unclear.

The Gambian has shown that he can be the Royals' best player on his day and by not playing him, Clement could risk losing the dressing room.
