Birmingham City talisman Che Adams is a wanted man after a thoroughly successful Championship campaign thus far.

There have been reports of several Premier League clubs expressing an interest in the forward with TEAMtalk reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are one of the latest clubs to throw their name in the ring.

The 22-year-old is earning rave reviews this season having scored 19 goals in the league, including a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers two weeks ago.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Manchester United, Arsenal, Celtic and Watford have all cast their eyes on the prolific forward.

But what is going through his head after the incessant links with a move away from Birmingham City in the summer?

Here are THREE things that will be going through Adams’ mind at the St Andrew’s club right now.

Adams has a dilemma; he needs to consider what is best for his career.

Is a move away from the Blues going to improve him and enhance his career prospects to play at the highest level and challenge himself?

Realistically, Birmingham could hit a glass ceiling in terms of their progression with financial penalties possibly sanctioned against them.

And that could stifle the striker’s development.

He will need to have a long hard think about what is best for him between now and the end of the season.

Every player who is in the game will have the ambition to play for their national side, be it dreams as a young child or a goal that is set once at a club that can offer that with the level of competition week in and week out on the pitch.

Playing at a higher level could well open the door to international honours if he proves his worth and moves to a club that can get the best out of him.

Adams has a certain style of play, and Garry Monk uses that to his advantage when setting his team out.

Birmingham invariably play to his strengths to get the best out of him.

With so many potential new suitors Adams will need to weigh up which club will be able to play him in a way that gets the same form, or better, out of him should he leave Birmingham City.

Choosing the right team will go a long way to helping the previous two points come to fruition.
