Swansea City extended their unbeaten away record to 11 matches in the Championship season as they sealed a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday night.

Jay Fulton handed Swansea the lead when he thumped the ball into the roof of the neat inside the first 20 minutes, but Karlan Grant then levelled the scores for Huddersfield before the break, and this how the scoreline remained at full-time.

Swansea are now yet to lose an away match this campaign, while all four of their defeats have come on home soil, but Cooper's side are currently sitting fifth in the second-tier table following an overall solid start in terms of results.

However, there will be some prevailing concern regarding Swansea's performance level as they have struggled to play well consistently this season, with this trend having continued in recent weeks.

Here are three things Cooper will have learned from Swansea's clash with Huddersfield...

There remains a lack of invention within the side

Swansea have failed to continue last season's attacking exploits as they have rarely looked fluent up top this term, and their creativity problems were again laid bare against the Terriers on Tuesday.

Fulton may have handed Swansea the lead with his first goal of the season, but the Swans registered just two shots on target against their Yorkshire opponents, and this is ultimately why they did not return with the three points.

Cooper needs to start getting the best out of creative focal point Bersant Celina, while he also needs to solve his winger conundrum as Kristoffer Peterson and Andre Ayew failed make an impact out wide on Tuesday.

Swansea may have more depth at centre-back than they thought

A major positive from Tuesday's match will have been the performance of academy defender Ben Cabango, who delivered a composed performance after replacing the injured Mike van der Hoorn at the interval.

Cabango had made his Swansea debut in the League Cup earlier this season, and he very much made his mark in the league side against the Terriers, as he looked strong defensively while also seeming composed on the ball.

The 19-year-old's performance will have reminded Cooper of the academy talent he is able to call upon, and he will surely not have any issue with giving Cabango another run-out after his stand-out performance.

It is difficult to envisage where Borja Baston fits in this Swansea side moving forward

Cooper handed Borja his first start since the 3-0 defeat to Brentford back in October, with Ayew having started as the sole striker in recent weeks, but Borja failed to make a notable impact at the John Smith's Stadium.

The Spaniard would have been desperate to impress Cooper following his stint out the side, but he struggled to really test the Huddersfield defence, and this could be largely owed to the fact there was little service for him.

It is clear that Borja would thrive in a creative side where he can operate as a poacher, but his overall game play does not seem strong enough to play a key role in this current Swansea side, and it will be interesting to see what happens with him in January.
