Ryan Sessegnon set the Championship on fire this season, impressing against every team he faced along the way.

His side, Fulham, missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League after finishing two points behind promoted Cardiff City. The Whites will face Derby County in the play-off semi-final as a result.

Sessegnon is the main reason to why Fulham are in the position they are today; scoring goals, setting up chances and controlling games are all things that you now expect to see why the 17-year-old takes to the field at Craven Cottage.

The left-sided youngster has drawn interest from Premier League teams as a result, and has even been mentioned as a possible wildcard pick for Gareth Southgate’s world cup squad.

Here is three things that all Manchester United fans - with their club linked -  need to know about wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon.

Ryan Sessegnon started out this season as Fulham’s starting left back, but has progressed into a different role throughout this campaign.

As the season got underway, the 17-year-old started to find himself further up the pitch more often, and as a result now plays as a left winger.

Sessegnon, wherever he will end up at the start of next season, could be used in either the left back or left wing position.

Ryan Sessegnon has a twin brother named Steven, who also is a footballer for Fulham Football Club.

Steven signed his first professional contract with Fulham, meaning he will be at Craven Cottage until 2020, the same deal which Ryan is currently on.

He made his debut for the club the 8th August 2017 in the EFL Cup third round match against Wycombe Wanderers, playing alongside brother Ryan for the final few minutes.

The 17-year-old won a number of award this season for his impressive performances throughout the campaign.

Sessegnon picked up the both the PFA and the EFL Championship player of the month award in January of this year, before being named Championship player of the season at the EFL awards.

In April, the young winger also became the first player outside England’s top flight to be nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award, which was late won by Manchester city’s Leroy Sane.
