An instant return to the Premier League looks incredibly likely for West Brom, who are now second in the Championship table after their 4-1 win over Reading at the weekend.

Darren Moore’s men head into the international break with four wins in their last five league outings, as well as a good draw at Sheffield Wednesday, and look the real deal for promotion this term.

Albion are the top scorers in the division having netted a sensational 31 goals in their opening twelve league games, and they look like a really dangerous outfit as we approach the halfway point of the campaign.

The international break gives Moore the chance to reflect on what has been a tremendous opening couple of months of the season, but they aren't the finished article just yet.

Here, we take a look at three things Moore will be mulling over about West Brom during the international break.

They may not be able to bring him back just yet, but reports have recently suggested that Leicester City may look to recall Harvey Barnes from his loan spell at the Hawthorns in January, after a magnificent season thus far.

The 20-year old has netted five teams and produced two assists for the Baggies in fourteen appearances this season, and it would be a huge blow if his loan spell was to end early.

Whether that means that Albion will want to strengthen in January is a different story, but it's bound to be on Moore's mind over the next fortnight.

It has been well publicised that Albion are extremely strong admirers of Blackburn Rovers' star man Bradley Dack.

The Baggies had a £15million bid for the 24-year old turned down by the Lancashire club back in the summer, and reports are now suggesting that the West Midlands club will go back in for a club-record £20million bid in January.

Having scored eight times and assisted five times from midfield, there is no doubt that Dack is worth the money, and would be a more than adequate replacement for Barnes if he were to leave in January.

After the recent signing of free transfer Bakary Sako, Moore insisted that there is still a place in his squad for Oliver Burke.

The 21-year old has made just one appearance in the league this term, with his other three appearances coming in the Checkatrade Trophy and the Carabao Cup.

Following his £15million arrival from RB Leipzig in 2017, Burke has made just four starting appearances for the Baggies and has been linked with a move away from the Hawthorns several times.

Having already proved himself to be a fantastic player at Championship level with Nottingham Forest, Moore will no doubt be wondering how to use Burke in his future plans.
