It's was another difficult season for Leeds who have disappointed on the pitch and looked beleaguered off the pitch, with the boardroom situation becoming a joke for fans to deal with.

Controversial chairman Massimo Cellino is still at the helm and sacking managers regularly, and has split the fans into two factions ever since his deal to sell the club to a fan group led consortium fell through last season.

Under Garry Monk they must strengthen in every position if they are to challenge for the top six next season.

The club certainly need to invest in one or two more strikers this summer, especially after the departure of Mirco Antenucci, who was released by the Yorkshire club.

So, here are THREE target men Leeds United should look to sign this summer......

Obbi Oulare

When he was signed by Watford a year ago a lot of people were excited to see what the young Belgian could do after impressing at Club Brugge.

Currently he is a regular for Belgium at youth level and is part of the U21 setup.

But Ighalo and Deeney seemed the best partnership for Watford last season and Oulare did not feature in the league and only played half an FA Cup match.

He is only 21 and needs some first team football to develop and a move to the Championship could help him.

He is a very tall striker with a strong physical presence bound to trouble any Championship defender and would be a big partner for Chris Wood who is similar, probably be a loan move as he is a long term prospect for Watford.

Peter Crouch

The 35- year-old is nearing retirement now but he still has plenty of ability, but his role at Premier League Stoke has declined every season.

With the new look Stoke approach they play fast flowing attacking football, with foreign imports like Bojan and Arnautovic pulling the strings.

Crouch doesn't suit the style at Stoke anymore and only appeared 11 times last season not scoring a single goal.

With Stoke likely to bring in more players as they push for the Europa League they will be keen to get rid of Crouch as quickly as possible, and plenty of Championship sides are interested.

He has brilliant aerial ability and strength and could do a job at this level without a doubt.

Dominic Solanke

Solanke

Solanke is one of the best young prospects in English football at just 18 years old.

Standing at over 6 foot he spent last season on loan in Holland at one of Chelsea's partners Vitesse Arnhem and looked very impressive, bagging 7 goals in 25 games. He features for the youth side a lot, as well being pushed into the England U21 setup already and helped Chelsea to glory in the UEFA Youth League.

Blessed with pace and agility a loan move in English football will give him a feel for the physicality and it will be a good move for all sides concerned.
