Swansea City will be looking to resume their Championship play-off push when the season continues, with the Swans currently sat three points adrift of the top six during the EFL's fixture suspension.

Steve Cooper's side most recent outing saw them secure a respectable goalless draw against automatic-promotion contenders West Brom, but their upcoming fixtures have now been postponed by the EFL as a result of the ongoing health concerns.

This means the Swans will be sitting 11th in the second-tier table when they eventually return to action, with the Welsh side being one of a significant number of clubs who remain in contention for the top six ahead of the campaign's final nine matches.

Swansea's squad will now be eager to return to action given they had been showing some promising signs just before the suspension, while there will be some particular figures desperate to make a serious impact when the remaining fixtures are played out.

Here, we take a look at THREE Swansea players who will be looking to return with a vengeance...

Jordon Garrick

Garrick has been one of the latest players to climb out of Swansea's academy set-up before making their mark in the first team, and the winger had looked to be starting to establish himself in Cooper's plans just before matches were suspended.

The 21-year-old found the net in his first two matches since returning from his three-month injury lay-off in February, and he earned his first league start for the south Wales side during the 2-2 draw with Blackburn in the penultimate match before the break.

Garrick will now be aiming to continue his impressive rate of development when the season resumes, and there is every chance he could become a regular fixture on Swansea's left flank.

Bersant Celina

It has been an indifferent season for Celina where he has struggled to make a consistent impact on Swansea's attacking ventures, with the Kosovo international having managed just two goals and three assists for the south Wales outfit this term.

There has been some debate over the 23-year-old's best position with Cooper choosing to largely utilise him on the left, while Swansea supporters have protested that the former Manchester City playmaker should be deployed in a more central role to reflect his abilities.

However, Celina was absent from the starting line-up for the four games prior to the fixture suspension as a result of an illness, and the attacking midfielder will now be looking to prove himself and regain his spot when matches are resumed.

Ben Cabango

Cabango had managed to reclaim his spot alongside Joe Rodon at the heart of defence in the matches leading up to the suspension, and he will now have every intention of cementing his place in the side during the final nine games of the season.

The 19-year-old will also have gained confidence from the fresh contract extension he has now signed at the Liberty Stadium, with this keeping Cabango at the south Wales club until 2023 with his previous terms having been set to expire in the summer of 2021.

Cabango will want to make sure of his spot in the starting line-up ahead of next season, and this is why the Welshman will be desperate to continue his fine form after the EFL's suspension.
