Marcelo Bielsa has enjoyed a great start to life as Leeds United’s head-coach, with his side still unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship.

Leeds played six fixtures prior to the international break, with Bielsa’s side winning on four occasions.

The Whites swept aside the likes of Stoke City, Derby County, Rotherham United and Norwich City prior to the international break, with their victories emphatic.

Draws against Swansea City and Middlesbrough were equally impressive, with Leeds producing battling performances.

Bielsa was rewarded with August’s Manager of the Month award, but the Argentinian was keeping his feet firmly on the ground, even refusing to have a picture with his award.

The 63-year-old will be well aware of the task ahead, with 40 games of the Championship season still remaining.

Here at FLW, we take a look at Leeds, identifying THREE risks Bielsa needs to take to get his side to the next level…

Sako is a free agent, but has previously shone in the Championship for Wolves.

The 30-year-old Malian is versatile and would add so much to Leeds’ attack.

He’s powerful and has proved that he can be so influential at this level.

If Leeds were to get him on board, you’d surely have them down as promotion favourites.

Clarke is an exciting product of Leeds’ academy.

The 17-year-old is highly-rated and continues to impress for Leeds’ under-23s.

Leeds lack somebody with the raw pace that Clarke could provide, and with Patrick Bamford now out injured, a chance for the forward could present itself.

Izzy Brown has been signed to compete with Samu Saiz for an attacking midfield role.

However, Bielsa could take a risk and get both involved when Brown is fit later in the season.

With Kalvin Phillips anchoring the midfield, Leeds’ other  midfielders have a licence to attack, which suits both Brown and Saiz.

Later in the season, this duo could be electric running at some tired defences.
