Hull City know they face a real battle to keep hold of winger Jarrod Bowen this month, with his superb recent form not going unnoticed.

The 22-year-old has been pivotal to the Tigers fantastic recent form, scoring his 11th goal of the season in the 6-0 thrashing of Bolton yesterday.

Given that, high-flying Tottenham are reportedly keen on bringing him to North London in this window and were believed to be preparing a bid of around £12m.

However, Sky Sports have revealed that the Championship side will be demanding for up to £20m for their star man.

As Spurs are notoriously difficult to deal with, that could prove problematic but here we look at THREE reasons why Daniel Levy should sanction a £20m move for Bowen...

At 22-years-old, Spurs would be getting a player who has his best years to come.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown over the years how he can develop younger players from the Football League, with Dele Alli the obvious example.

Bowen has time to get better and Spurs could be the perfect club for him.

Additionally, Hull have every right to demand up to £20m for Bowen.

Firstly, he's not some flash in the pan. The former Hereford man hit 14 league goals last season and is on 11 now, which means he has been very good for the best part of 18 months.

James Maddison cost £24m and Aston Villa wanted in excess of that for Jack Grealish, so Hull have every right to demand a big fee.

Ultimately, Spurs would be getting a very good player, and one who could get even better at their club.

Playing with better players is obviously going to bring Bowen's game on a lot and that should excite Spurs about how good he can be.

Having missed out on players in the past, they need to seal the deal for the winger who could go on to be a real success.
