Barnsley were the victors and tied the Welsh International down to a three-year deal.

The 24-year-old has previously played for Welsh side Aberystwyth Town and also Shrewsbury Town and most recently Walsall.

He has been capped by the Welsh national team at under-19 and 21 level and also has earned one cap for the senior team.

Over the past couple of years Bradshaw has been one of the hottest strikers in League One, and has been in rich goalscoring form which has led to him having many admiring glances from numerous Championship teams.

When turning out for Walsall he made 86 appearances and scored an incredible 40 goals throughout his two years at the Bescot Stadium, he was a much loved fans favourite at Walsall down to his goalscoring exploits and many fans were saddened to see him depart the club following his transfer request.

In the past two seasons he has scored 20 goals in both seasons, which is quite an achievement.

Many fans and pundits alike have tipped him to continue this form in the Championship, and he will be desperate to prove many doubters wrong and prove he can be a success at a higher level.

Desire to play International football

In his early days, Bradshaw received 4 caps for the Welsh under 19 national team and impressed in those games scoring 2 goals, he then went onto progress up the youth sides into the Welsh under-21 team where he made 8 appearances scoring just the once.

On the 28th March 2016 Bradshaw received his first taste of International football when he replaced Tom Lawrence for the final 17 minutes against Ukraine, a match which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Wales, however having this taste of international football made Bradshaw determined to keep his place in the squad, and a big part of his decision to chase a move to the Championship was his desire to be playing at the highest level possible to further his international chances.

Bradshaw was in manager Chris Coleman's provisional squad for Euro 2016 in which Wales had a magnificent tournament and reached the semi-finals, although Bradshaw had to withdraw through injury.

Following this heartbreak Bradshaw will be more determined than ever to produce good performances for Barnsley this year, score goals and force his way into the Welsh squad and prove that he is there to stay.

When lining up for Barnsley, Bradshaw will have a number of creative talents around him and can count and have lots of chances to sniff at with the likes of Adam Hammill, George Moncur and Conor Hourihane around him.

Bradshaw is a goal poacher and does his best work inside the penalty area, with tricky winger Adam Hammill in the team he will have plenty of crosses to feed off and will surely have plenty of chances fall his way.

The former Liverpool winger is known for his creativity and is usually at the top of the assists list for every club he has been at.

As well as being a 'Fox in the box' Bradshaw is blessed with good pace and is equally effective staying on the shoulder of the last defender and running in behind back fours, with players such as George Moncur and Conor Hourihane in midfielder there will be no shortage of players who are able to find the killer pass, Hourihane especially is blessed with great technical ability and has excellent vision.
