The transfer rumour mill never really goes away no matter what time of year it is and it's certainly ticking along nicely at the moment.

The modern game never stops and, with that, clubs are always on the lookout for their next big signing.

Indeed, according to the Express, PSG are ready to try and rival Real Madrid to the signing of Christian Eriksen at Tottenham with him yet to agree on a new contract with Tottenham.

And, with that said, it seems as though Spurs might turn to the EFL for a potential replacement for the classy Dane.

Indeed, according to the report, Aston Villa's Jack Grealish or Blackburn's Bradley Dack could be seen as the replacement for the midfielder by the North London club.

That in mind, surely it would be Grealish that would be the better option for Spurs of the two.

Here are three reasons why...

Of the pair, it's only Grealish who has Premier League experience and that counts for a lot.

Tottenham are looking challenge at the very highest level, they need players that can come in and adapt quickly.

Grealish would have that ability.

Dack is a fine player and certainly one that can make it to the top flight.

Grealish edges him on ability at the moment, though, and his potential makes him a better proposition for Spurs right now.

Both are not at Eriksen's level but Grealish is ahead of Dack.

At the end of the day, you need players that can fit into the system and Grealish would fit in better than Dack.

Both can play through the middle but Dack likes to play out wide, Grealish is a much more orthodox central option.
