Queens Park Rangers' Ebere Eze has been the talk of a Premier League move this season, with Tottenham Hotspurs showing the most interest.

It's been the breakthrough season of Eze at QPR. Under Mark Warburton, Eze has rapidly developed into a crucial first-team player for QPR having already surpassed his goals tally from last season with seven so far.

Spurs have been linked with him for some time now but this season the links have heightened, with Southampton also joining the race for the 21-year-old.

Here's three reasons why Spurs should move for the QPR man:

Get him on the cheap

QPR, due to financial hardship over the past few seasons, have been forced to offload their best players for measly sums. Charlie Austin left for little over £4 million a few years ago, whilst Luke Freeman, arguably one of the best attacking midfielders in the league last season, went to Sheffield United for only £5 million.

The footballing world know about QPR's financial woes and offer them these sums knowing that they're likely to be accepted. Should Spurs move for Eze they'll be able to get him for, at very most, £15 million - he's the best player that the club have produced in recent years, but they'd jump at £15 million.

Dynamic player

As Eze has developed each season at QPR, he's showed his dynamism in being able to play in more than one position.

Last season he played on both the left-wing and in behind the striker and this season has often played on the left of a midfield-three, which is probably his best position.

In Eze, Spurs would be signing a player who can play in numerous positions on the pitch with great effect, and would be of great use to Jose Mourinho in different circumstances.

Future England star?

We're definitely experiencing of a 'golden era' of young English footballers coming through. Gareth Southgate has led the revolution as England boss and has opened the door to youngster up and down the country to try and break into his Three Lions squad, and Eze could well do so one day.

Tottenham already have several England players and adding another potential one in Eze would do the club no harm. He is however on the horns of a dilemma, in choosing the represent England or Nigeria as a full international. The Nigerian FA are keen for him to commit himself to the Super Eagles in time for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar but Eze is yet to decide.
