West Brom are considering making a move for Huddersfield forward Karlan Grant after his impressive start to the season.

Slaven Bilic's side may lead the way in the Championship but the Croatian is keen to increase his options up top and Birmingham Live have stated that Grant is a target.

The 22-year-old has hit 12 goals for the struggling Terriers this season and scored four in 13 whilst they were in the top-flight last season.

Therefore, he is regarded as one of the top talents at this level and here we outline THREE reasons why Grant would be a real coup for the Baggies if they could convince him to come to The Hawthorns...

He is an upgrade on what they have

Firstly, you have to say that he is a clear upgrade on what Albion have right now and that's backed up with the stats.

Grant has 12 this season, with Charlie Austin and Hal Robson-Kanu on seven each. When you consider that they are playing in a fantastic attacking side, they really should be doing more and you can only think Grant would thrive working with better players.

He suits the style of play

Following on from that, Grant looks to have all the qualities you would want for a player in this side.

Bilic encourages a stylish brand of football and that should suit the Huddersfield man who is capable in possession, plays on the shoulder and relies on his sharp movement to get chances.

He is a long-term option

Finally, you have to say that Grant could be a key figure at Albion for the next decade or so.

Whilst the immediate priority for Bilic is to get someone to help the team to promotion, the ex-Charlton man has his best years in front of him which is an added bonus.

Plus, he showed in his brief spell last season that he can cause problems to Premier League defenders.
