Millwall fell to a 3-2 defeat against Leeds United last time out, which has left Neil Harris' side just one point and one place above the relegation zone.

Despite that, the Lions boss claimed he was very proud of the way his side played, with the high-flying hosts relying on a fairly late goal from Pablo Hernandez to complete the win.

They had taken the lead twice after goals from Ben Thompson and a penalty from Ben Marshall, but they were ultimately pegged back each time and Patrick Bamford missed a spot-kick for Leeds too.

Additionally, Harris reckons that Millwall were the best side to play against Leeds at Elland Road this season.

That was a very bold claim and here we look at THREE reasons why he is wide of the mark with this one...

The stats don't back him up

Millwall only had three shots on goal against Leeds, which isn't really much.

In contrast, Bielsa's side tested David Martin eight times and dominated the possession, having over two thirds of the ball.

The reality was Millwall were clinical on the day as they didn't create a lot aside from the goals.

They didn't win

When Leeds fans look back at the best sides to play them this season they will immediately look at games they lost, as you would.

The standout one is Norwich, who were brilliant on the day and Hull also played well at Elland Road too.

Harris claims would have more justification if they had picked up three points.

They couldn't control Leeds' best player

Anyone who faces Leeds will know that the man to stop is Pablo Hernandez.

Everything seems to go through him in the final third and he really is a class act.

However, Millwall couldn't contain him on Saturday, with the Spaniard producing a masterclass that included scoring the winner.
