The future of Leeds United winger, Jack Clarke seems to be thrown into doubt in recent weeks, with Arsenal being the latest team to register their interest in the youngster according to Football Insider.

The 18-year-old has been impressive in his breakthrough season with the Whites, and it will come as no surprise to see Clarke attracting interest from top-flight clubs.

It has previously been reported that both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Clarke in this month's transfer window.

The youngster picked up the man-of-the-match award for his display against Derby County on Friday, where he was on hand to provide an assist for Kemar Roofe for the opening goal on the night.

Clarke will certainly have an interesting decision to make if formal bids are lodged by any of the Premier League sides interested, and it could make or break his career.

But should Clarke be eyeing a move to Arsenal this month?

We look at three reasons why he should steer clear of their interest.

Find out what those reasons are below....

He won't be getting regular game time at Arsenal

Arsenal already have a number of wingers that would be in front of Clarke in the pecking order, so he wouldn't be getting anywhere near enough game time with the Gunners.

If he cares about his development in the professional game, then he'll avoid this move at all costs until he has secured more regular playing time with Leeds.

He has only just broken into the first-team and he wouldn't be ready to step up to the top flight just yet.

Is this move too early for Clarke?

Some will argue that this isn't the right time for Clarke to leave Elland Road.

At the age of 18, it really is make or break for the youngster if he decides to move to Arsenal, and a potential move could decide which direction his career heads in.

You only have to look at the likes of Charlie Taylor who left Leeds, and has struggled to make a notable impact at Burnley recently.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

He can be a star at Leeds in the future

Clarke has been hugely impressive with Leeds this season, and under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, he seems to be thriving in the early stages of his career.

He has already made an impact on the Leeds side this season as they challenge for promotion.

He scored the goal to get Leeds' comeback against Villa started, as well as assisting Kemar Roofe's opener against Derby in their last game.

Clarke has such a bright future ahead of him and should consider his next move wisely.
