It's fair to say that Notts County are in turmoil - they have just sacked their second manager of the season after a truly dismal start to proceedings.

Former Liverpool and Leeds United midfielder Harry Kewell has recently been relieved of his duties at the League Two club after just ten weeks, winning just three of his fourteen games in charge of the Magpies.

After a huge summer spending spree, expectations were extremely high at the start of the season - Notts were touted as the bookies' favourites to lift the title come the end of the season, especially after finishing in the play-offs last term.

But any kind of finish in the promotion places already looks unlikely for the East Midlands club, who currently sit 22nd in the League Two table.

One player who has been like a diamond in the rubble for Notts County is Enzio Boldewijn - the 25-year old arrived at Meadow Lane in the summer from Crawley Town, for a six-figure fee.

Here, we take a look at three reasons why Enzio Boldewijn is way too good for Notts County...

Boldewijn's pace is absolutely frightening.

Whether it's a short ten yard burst, or a 100 metre sprint down the flank, the flying Dutchman is an absolute nightmare for opposition defences.

You'll struggle to find a player in the division who possesses the same amount of pace, power, and end-product at the end of the run.

Boldewijn's stats don't do him justice this season - he has produced three assists and scored three times, and what unbelievable strikes they really are.

His goals against Cambridge, Exeter and Stevenage are all carbon copy - he cuts in from the left hand side and bends a wicked shot into the top right corner.

He just doesn't score tap ins.

He may be 25, but Boldewijn still has years ahead of him to grow as a player.

He's entering his prime years, and it's a shame that Notts' current position in the table is holding him back.

He can easily be a top-end Championship player in the long run.
